As part of our mission, at Urban Organic, we design and build wildlife gardens that contribute to biodiversity net gain, creating rich, self-sustaining habitats that support nature in urban spaces. Our approach prioritises habitat creation, incorporating wildflower meadows, hedgerows, ponds, deadwood habitats, and pollinator-friendly planting schemes to attract and sustain a diverse range of species, fostering vibrant ecosystems.
We integrate sustainable drainage solutions (SuDS) and rainwater harvesting to support ecosystems while preventing water logging and improving soil structure. Soil health is key to biodiversity, and we use organic methods to increase fertility, enhance carbon storage, and create the right conditions for plant and microbial life to thrive.
To ensure long-term success, we offer wildlife monitoring, tracking key species over time and adapting management plans to enhance biodiversity.
